Dear Becky: I have watched squawk box for the past few years, an interesting show, lots of information, I wish I would have known more about the business, I have been in the real estate business, Realtor, l andlording and rehabbing older homes. Your lucky to land a job in the stock market business, I like your pals, Mark, Joe, David and Maria. Seem like I know you guys. Anyway, the reason for this email, is to find out how I can get in touch with Warren Buffet. During your interviews with him I noticed his voice, seems to be raspy, not fully clear. A man in his position and all his success needs to comunicate clearly, and needs to be heard. Which brings up the subject of voice building. My brother in West Hollywood Ca., does just that, he a voice builder. He works with celebrities, young actors, producers, speakers. He has a lot of success stories, check out his web site "Gary Catona". He does this through his vocial exercises, which he has developed since the mid eighties. One of his students Michael Wilmington, who worked for the LA Times, had a bout the spastic desphonia, a voice disorder. His voice was cracking with every word. After 6 weeks of half hour lessons, he had around 90% turn around of his voice. Is there anyway we can get this information to Mr. Buffet, I'm sure he would be greatful to you an CNBC. Best regards, Tony

BECKY,

I watch you, Joe and Carl each morning to see what is going on in the world.

I enjoy Joe’s conservative look at thins, Carl’s attempt to be liberal, and your middle of the road, hold everything together view on things.

My comment is aimed at health care because I can’t put my hands on the 1.5 trillion dollar price tag just so 50,000,000 uninsured can be insured.

I employee about 200 people in my business and we do provide a very good health care plan to all of our employees.

My company pays 82% of the premiums and out employees pay 18% of the premiums.

If the Government is going to provide health care for the 50,000,000 uninsured and these same 50,000,000 were working for me, the cost would be as follows:

Assuming within the 50,000,000 people uninsured 50% are part of a family and we will further assume the family is made up of an average of 3 people.

This would mean:

25,000,000 single premiums x 365.00 equals $9,125,000.00 x 12 months equals $ 109,500,000,000 per year.

25,000,000 people divided by 3 or 8,333,334 families x 1096.00 equals 9,113,334,064 x $109,600,008,768 per year.

This mean I have insured through my current insurer 50,000,000 uninsured for $219,000,008,768 per year.

Let’s further say, as with my coverage, there is a $3000.00 out of pocket for each single person ( 25,000,000 x $3,000.00 equals 75,000,000,000).

A family would be 8,333,334 families x $4,000.00 out of pocket ( 8,333,334 x $4000.00 equals $33,333,336).

So if we insured 50,000,000 uninsured for one year, and did not want any of them to have to pay one penny of their own money( which the Govt. probably already give them), the total price tag would be:

Single: $ 109,500,000,000 per year

Family: $109,600,008,768 per year

Out of pocket expenses: $ 75,000,000,000 per year single coverage

Out of pocket expenses: $ 33,333,336,000 per year family coverage

Total for great health care for the 50,000,000 uninsured: $327,433,334,768.00 327 billion 433 million 334 thousand 768 dollars.

Why would this cost 1 5 trillion when I just insured them with a great HMO plan from Aetna for less than 328 billion dollars.

Can anyone answer this question?

Of course the big question is, if the Govt. is going to insure 50,000,000, uninsured next year at a cost of nothing to those individuals this plan would cover, how many insured Americans (and I used this term loosely) who had insurance will drop it to be covered under the give away plan?

My only other point to be made is this. I currently have 50 to 60 employees who will not accept our health care plan because they do not want to pay 18% of the premium.

These employees will go to the hospital for emergencies and the local social care clinics when they need other non-critical help. They always get the care they are looking for and I am sure the working tax payers pay for it.

SO WHY DO WE NEED TO GIVE THE GOVERNMENT 1.5 TRILLION TO PAY FOR SOMETHING 328 BILLION WILL COVER?

THIS LOOKS LIKE MORE GOOD GOVERNMENT AT WORK.

WHEN WILL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WAKE UP!

WHAT IS GOING ON IS INSANITY!

Thanks for reading this and I hope this of something like it will reach the airways.

Becky,

Can you please tell Joe Kernen to be better prepared and armed with the facts when ultra liberals like Dean come on the show to talk about health care. (1) The reason why health care costs are so high is because of government mandates. He should research and make a list of some of the outrageous mandates insurance companies are being forced to cover. These mandates are keeping costs high for everyone. (2) Obama is definitely thinking socialized medicine. He has allocated billions of dollars to set up a commission to study the British system. Tell Joe to research this, too. (3) Obama's universal health care is a Euthanasia plan for seniors like myself. They will be spending money on the young who can contribute dollars to the government, instead of seniors who are using the system and not contributing through payroll deductions. (4) I'll give Joe this one. Private insurance cannot compete with the government and the result will be socailized medicine. This is the goal of all liberals.

Thanks

P.S. You guys have a great show!
